香港每日產生超過 3,000 公噸廚餘——相當於 250 輛雙層巴士的重量 — 但目前的回收率不足 6%。這不僅對堆填區造成沉重負擔，腐爛過程更會產生大量溫室氣體，加速氣候變遷。 Over 3,000 tonnes of food waste is produced in Hong Kong daily (equivalent to 250 double decker buses), but less than 6% was recycled, exacerbating the burden of landfills and greenhouse gas emissions.

川上生物科技 (EFB)致力利用黑水虻的生物轉化能力 ，促進香港循環經濟發展。 在政府回收基金、香港城市大學 HK Tech 300 天使基金及多名有心人士及機構的鼎力支持下, 我們以黑水虻技術將廚餘轉化為可持續資源， 為環保貢獻科研力量。 We are pioneering the circular economy in Hong Kong by leveraging the bioconversion power of black soldier flies (BSF). Kindly supported by the HKSAR Recycling Fund, the HKTech300 Angel Fund of City University of Hong Kong, and other donors, we use BSF technology to turn waste into sustainable resources.

我們位於 上水的10,000 呎設施 成立於 2020 年，是本港首間及規模最大的商業黑水虻農場。我們以嚴格的監管標準，回收來自本地學校及食品製造商的商業廚餘，並將其「升級再造 (Upcycling)」為優質蛋白質、有機肥料及環保美容原料，真正實踐轉廢為材」重新定義廢棄物的價值。 Established in 2020, our 10,000 sq.ft facility in Sheung Shui stands as the city’s first and largest black soldier fly farm. By upcycling commercial food waste from local schools and manufacturers under controlled standards, we create premium proteins, organic compost, and eco-friendly cosmetic ingredients that redefine waste as wealth.
